I have some exciting news to share with you guys! Last week, Norwex announced the release of some awesome new products – check them out below!
NEW PRODUCT: Microfiber Cleaner/Laundry Booster (available in October) – I am super excited about this product! As you all know, our microfiber cloths pick up a TON of junk and bacteria. Over time, build up may cause your cloths to smell a bit funky. In the past my favorite way to deep clean my cloths was to boil a pot of water, add a scoop of laundry detergent and let them soak overnight. Not anymore!! Norwex knew about that issue and released this new Microfiber Cleaner! Instead of having to boil water and let your cloths soak overnight, you just need to add a scoop of Microfiber Cleaner to a bowl of warm water and let soak for 30 MINUTES! This Microfiber Cleaner is also a Laundry Booster so if you have any incredibly dirty clothes, you can add it in with your regular load of clothes and detergent and it will remove yucky stains and odors.
NEWLY FORMULATED Laundry Detergents – Norwex has made their detergents even more concentrated, to last even longer for you! Click HERE for more details on the laundry soap!
NEW COLORS of EnviroCloths – How pretty are these Champagne and Rose Quartz colors?! AND, these cloths are made from 50% recycled plastic! There is 2 plastic bottles in one of these new Enviro cloths!. (More more details, you can check them out on my Norwex site HERE)
NEW COLOR of Window Cloth – Same awesome window cleaning cloth, lovely new color. The window cloth is a MUST in everyone. Zero steaks but just water 🙂
RETURN of the Graphite Dusting Mitt – This was a customer favorite and now it’s back! Did you know that dust harbors TONS of toxic contaminants? I love that I don’t have to dust as often with this guy because it’s not leaving any residue behind for future dust to hold onto.
NEW PATTERN for Norwex Napkins made from 50% recycled material and bacLock – Love this beautiful leaf pattern! Norwex Napkins are a GREAT way to cut down on waste from paper napkins in your home.
NEW COLORS for Superior Mop – Guys, isn’t this such a lovely color combination?! Gold/Rose Gold mop handle, and mop pads in Champagne and Rose Quartz. Now made from recycled material! The mop system has greatly reduced my cleaning time and made my floor cleaning so much simpler. A lot of people host a party to get this guy for free 🙂 Click HERE for more mop info!
NEW & IMPROVED Travel Pack – It now comes with FIVE cloths in these new colors! SO handy when out and about!
NEW PATTERNS for Wet Wipes Bags – These bags are great for carrying cloths on the go.
COUNTER CLOTH BOX – You guys wanted this back and Norwex heard you, it’s back forever! The countertop cloths are SO helpful when trying to reduce paper towel habits and it’s a solution that really works!
NEW PATTERNS for Grocery Bags with Baclock – I love these reusable bags for grocery shopping. Reusable grocery bags can harbor tons of bacteria because of all the food they carry, but with Baclock in these bags they are bacteria free!
COMING IN OCTOBER – Toddler Bib & Cloth in two beautiful designs! These have the antibacterial silver agent in them along with a little cloth for cleanups.
I’m interested to hear what you all think! Let me know your opinions and what you’re most excited about in the comments!!
Today I want to share about the AMAZING Counter Cloths! These cloths can be used just like an Enviro Cloth, but their main goal is to cut down (or completely replace) use of paper towels. These guys are great in your kitchen for so many reasons. They come in a variety of colors to match your own kitchen. The microfiber is textured in a way that maximizes the amount of liquid/food/dirt/etc the cloth can pick up. Anything that you usually grab a paper towel for, these guys can be used instead! They are even shaped just like a half sheet of an average paper towel used for wiping up messes – but these cloths pick up so much more mess, and bacteria, than a regular paper towel. Not only do the Counter Cloths do a better job cleaning (did I mention they remove 99% of bacteria using only the cloth and water?!), but they can really make a wonderful impact on our planet. Did you know 13 billion pounds of paper towels are used each year? That’s over 45 pounds of paper towels per person, per year. Holy cow that’s a lot!
My family decided to totally replace paper towel use with Norwex products instead, and the Counter Cloth is definitely one of my favorites in the kitchen. Maybe your family is not ready to completely stop using paper towels, then maybe you could consider this – 544,000 trees could be saved each year if each US household used JUST ONE LESS roll of paper towels! We can make a huge difference in our environment just by slowly replacing our habits. I challenge you to say no to at least one (or more) rolls of paper towels and use these awesome Counter Cloths instead!
My 6th born has acquired the nickname of “Little Hippo”. When he hears this name called from afar, a smile soon appears on his sweet face. I feel like I learn more and more about chemicals with each baby that I have. Like the fact that tt only takes 26 seconds for the chemicals in personal care products to enter the bloodstream! That is CRAZY to me! Please guys, read the label on everything that you put on your baby, your children, and on YOU. There are alternatives out there that don’t cause more work for you and keep you little people healthier.
From day 1, we have used the Norwex Baby Cloths on our Little Hippo. This is a mini version of the Body Cloths. This soft microfiber will gently clean skin without needing soap (it even removes makeup really well with only water!). During dry winter months, I like to use Shea Butter on his skin where I notice any dry patches. Using a safe and clear laundry detergent is also SO important for little people skin! Know what’s in your detergent! That’s pretty much it! See, not complicated!
It doesn’t need to be more expensive and harder to be safer with what you use in our home and on our bodies. Make baby steps to improve the quality of life around you and your children will watch you as you grow in this. Happy May and Happy Safe Havens!
I do believe it’s time for a good review of Norwex’s Enviro Cloth. I like to call this the “everything” cloth because this puppy should be used on almost every single surface of your home with JUST WATER! (no dishes for this guy though). Even think to use it on carpet stains and chocolate milk stains on your white couch (this was me at one point!). What makes the Enviro Cloth so great?
The Enviro cloth gets a solid 10 in my book. It’s amazing what it has cleaned in my home for 5 small kids and a huge dog. Grease, dog messes, spit up, food smears, blood, chicken juice, bathroom grime and more. I haven’t purchased paper towels (sorry, I take that back, I bought 2 rolls for them 2 years ago when we got our puppy) in 4+ years because of this cloth. I believe this product should be in every home!
I have this dog that my husband considers mine. His name is Silas and he is the breed of my choice…a lovely, fluffy, and large Bernese Mountain dog. I’m glad that we got him. Even when I notice all the scratches in the new hardwood floors or the muddy water drops on the walls from his wagging tail. I love how he greets me every morning with a lick and how he expects a walk in the woods everyday (I need some accountability when it comes to exercise!).
It’s what I consider mud season here in Virginia. Growing up in Vermont, we actually had a separate 4th season dedicated for the mud. At the end of the day this Silas dog of mine is totally filthy!!
Last night my husband was on a business trip which doesn’t happen too often but I like having Silas inside sleeping close by to be my watch dog. When I went to bring him in for the night, he looked like a swamp dog that had been prancing around in the mud all day long. Washing him in the tub is crazy, he’s just too big. An easy and quick solution just had to be an option for this tired lady (that just finished putting the 5 kids to bed) so I tried taking a 5 gallon bucket of warm water and the pet wash mitt to see just how effective it would be. Three minutes later, he was clean and ready to slumber inside (although I had to admit that my socks and pajama pants were quite wet afterward!).
On warmer days this is how we tackle such jobs:
